The job entails testing games and applications that will be embedded on the handsets upon release and producing bug reports for submission to our clients following structured testing methodology, and to the highest possible specified quality standards (specifically with reference to network operators' certification standards and the internal embedded standards generated by BabelMedia). Once a game has been "embedded" it will be copied onto every new handset at the factory and so extreme attention to detail is vital for this role.
Due to the fact that deadlines for the embedded project are fixed on occasion you may be asked to work outside of normal office hours.
On occasion new embedded testers will require induction into the existing pool of embedded testers. You will be required to provide mentoring for them during their first days of testing and report if they have reached the required standard.
