Offshore Co-ordinator/Administrator
OPERATIONAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Offshore Co-ordinator has the primary responsibility to provide the Offshore Manager and his/her team on the vessel with administrative and logistical support to ensuring the smooth running of the vessel.
Administrative / logistical support will be provided to support the following tasks onboard the vessel:
Mobilisation Receipt of Materials
Equipment Lists Hires. Tracking equipment
Certification Customs Paperwork
Document Control DPR - Diving / ROV
Daily Meetings Crew Changing
Competency Stores Ordering
Waste Management Hazardous Waste
COSHH / SYPOC Shipping Returns
Demobilisation Offshore Debrief
Handover Notes Compile manifests for customs in accordance with country's procedure
In carrying out the above duties the Offshore Co-ordinator shall communicate with vessel personnel, customs and onshore support staff.
TRAINING AND COMPETENCE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake training in Construction/IRM operations in accordance with the Subsea 7 Construction/IRM Competence Assurance Scheme training and competency scheme.
Build a portfolio of evidence for the Subsea 7 Construction/IRM Competence Assurance Scheme and present the completed portfolio to the Subsea 7 competence focal point for assessment, verification and audit by client companies.
The Offshore Co-ordinator shall comply with the requirements of the Subsea 7 Global HSEQ Training Program.
OTHER DUTIES
Any other duties as directed by the Offshore Manager Skills
Must have excellent English language communication skills both oral and written.
Highly IT literate with first rate skills and understanding of all Microsoft packages.
Strong people skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
Ability to multi task and adapt to change
Qualifications and Education
Desirable - Formal qualifications in IT packages
Experience
Essential - Should have worked in a admin role with a challenging and busy department.
Desirable - Preference will be given to applicants who have worked offshore in a similar admin orientated role.
Desirable - Experience dealing with customs representatives
