One of our current clients is a leading multi branch national distributor of industrial automation products such as PLCs, Drives, Process Instrumentation and Low Voltage Controls etc. They are well established turning over in excess of £25million per annum. They distribute on behalf of world class companies such as Siemens, Honeywell, AEG, General Electric and Bussmann etc.
They are now seeking to employ a Sales Engineer to primarily increase business through exisitng customers (80%) and develop new business (20%). Based within a 30 mile radius of the Leeds branch you will split the postcodes LS, BD, HD, WF, HX, HG, YO, S, DN, and HU between yourself and one other Sales Engineer. One day a week is spent in the office planning, appointment making, admin etc and 4 days are out on the road visiting customers.
You should be an experienced solution sales person, understanding the customers business and where you can make a difference. You should have knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, plant maintenance or instrumentation etc. You must be able to converse credibly and build relationships with your customers who will range from Buyers, Plant Managers, Maintenance Managers and Engineers etc.
The package includes a basic salary of upto a maximum £32,000 (DOE), company car, mobile, laptop, 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. Pension and health care after qualifying period.
You must have a full driving license and the relevant experience to apply.
